I installed the BottomBars using the included readme file and it worked perfectly. Just follow them word for word and you'll have no problems. Important note though, after I intalled the folder/files as required, I then ran the latest version of ByCrom and had it update all the version numbers to match the latest game update before I ran AoC with the mod. Also I chose the "Idol" character portrait and "3Bars" Bottombar option and it works great, you will need to move your icons around to suit your needs as it duplicates your existing hotbars layout. Then go into your Interface options menu and uncheck the "Show extended hotbars/shortcut bars" box. Since the mod displays them for you. My only gripe about the mod is that you can't resize the size of the bars and they take up a large part of your display. I have only been running it for a few days and have not experienced any glitches or errors yet and have not gained any new abilities or combos yet so I don't know if the game will have any problems when automatically adding/replacing new combos or abilities to the custom bottombars. Also, I don't know how the game or mod will react when a new update is applied. Like other mods you may have to rerun ByCrom to update the custom files with any new update version numbers before running the game after updates are downloaded.
